The D5 Group seeks a creative and detail-oriented Content Developer to create digital content for a strategic communications marketing campaign. The ideal candidate will create engaging social media posts, blogs, and website copy that connect with a diverse audience and support the campaign’s goals. This role requires someone who can craft impactful content for various digital platforms while maintaining consistency in tone and messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Development:
Develop compelling content for social media, blog entries, and web copy that aligns with the campaign’s objectives.
Ensure all content is engaging, relevant, and appropriate for a diverse audience.
Content Calendar Coordination:
Work closely with the Marketing Strategist, Social Media Coordinator, and client’s social media team to align content with the overall campaign and social media calendar.
Adapt content for various digital platforms, ensuring that messaging is optimized for each format.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Campaign Manager and creative team to ensure content consistency across platforms.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to enhance content quality.
Editing and Revisions:
Proofread and revise content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
Make revisions and adjustments based on feedback from the campaign team and stakeholders.
Key Deliverables:
A series of engaging social media posts, blogs, and web copy that align with campaign objectives.
Coordinated content that fits the campaign’s social media calendar and supports its overall goals.
Revisions and final versions of content based on team feedback.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a content creator in digital marketing, social media, or a related field.
Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio demonstrating effective digital content creation.
Ability to develop content for community-focused or social impact campaigns.
Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital content optimization.
Compensation:
Competitive project rate based on experience and qualifications.
Estimated 40-50 hours of work for this project. Specific timelines and project expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience creating content for community outreach, social justice, or strategic communications campaigns.
Experience with audio production and developing podcast scripts is a plus.
Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing practices is beneficial but not required.
