The D5 Group seeks a highly creative and detail-oriented Content Developer and Scriptwriter for an exciting strategic communications marketing campaign. This role involves creating compelling video and audio content scripts and crafting written materials for social media, blogs, and other digital platforms. The perfect prospect will have strong storytelling ability and experience creating content that resonates with diverse audiences, specifically in community-focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Scriptwriting:
Write scripts for video content, including interviews and storytelling segments.
Develop scripts for audio content, such as podcasts or audio interviews, in collaboration with the Cinematographer and audio production team.
Content Development:
Craft written content for social media posts, blogs, and other promotional materials.
Ensure all content aligns with the campaign’s messaging and communication goals, focusing on trust, transparency, and community engagement.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Campaign Manager and creative team to ensure content consistency across platforms.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to enhance content quality.
Editing and Revisions:
Revise and refine content based on feedback from stakeholders and the creative team.
Ensure all content is proofread, clear, and consistent with the campaign’s objectives.
Key Deliverables:
Completed and polished scripts for video and audio productions.
Written content for social media posts, blogs, and promotional materials.
Ongoing content revisions based on client and stakeholder feedback.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in scriptwriting and content creation for digital platforms.
Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
Ability to create content that engages diverse communities and resonates with broad audiences.
Strong communication and collaborative skills.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple content projects.
Compensation:
Competitive project rate based on experience and qualifications.
Estimated 60-70 hours of work for this project. Specific timelines and project expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience creating content for community outreach, social justice, or strategic communications campaigns.
Experience with audio production and developing podcast scripts is a plus.
Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing practices is beneficial but not required.
