MARKETING STRATEGIST

Location: Warren, Ohio

Position Overview

The D5 Group seeks a personable and confident Marketing Strategist to craft and oversee marketing strategies for nonprofit and municipal clients. This role emphasizes fundamental marketing principles, focusing on proven practices rather than fleeting trends to deliver lasting impact.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic Planning

  • Develop actionable marketing strategies and tactics
  • Define goals, target audiences, and key performance indicators
  • Create messaging frameworks to guide campaigns


Research and Analysis

  • Ensure creative and tactical execution aligns with strategic objectives

Present strategies and deliverables to clients and D5 leadership

  • Use insights to inform strategies and improve outcomes


Campaign Oversight

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align execution with objectives
  • Present strategies to clients and adjust plans as needed
  • Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements



Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing strategy
  • Experience with nonprofits or municipalities
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong skills in audience segmentation, messaging, and data analysis
  • Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics and project management software

Scope & Deliverables

  • Time Commitment: Project-based, with availability dependent on scope and deadlines
  • Key Deliverables: Strategic plans, messaging frameworks, and performance recommendations
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Market Researcher and D5 leadership to align on objectives

Independence: Operate autonomously, adhering to deadlines and D5 Group’s quality standards
